Welcome to the Sutton Education Trust

The Sutton Education Trust was set up on 1st February 2017. The Trust comprises of the following 7 Sutton schools: Beddington Infants; Culvers House Primary; Dorchester Primary; Foresters Primary; High View Primary; Muschamp Primary and  Nonsuch Primary.   Sherwood Park special school are also associate members and partner with the Trust.
,The Sutton Education Trust is a Co-operative Trust.  This means that stakeholders, be they pupils, staff, parents/ carers, governors are full members and contribute in many ways. People who work and live locally, family members of our children as well as past pupils themselves can also join the Trust. There are also opportunities for other groups or bodies such as other schools and educational establishments to become members of the Trust.  Currently these include Crystal Palace Football Club and Orchard Hill College.

The Co-operative Trust school model means, that in a very real sense, schools will be increasingly owned mutually by their parents, pupils and staff plus their wider communities. All the schools currently involved made the decision to become the founding members of the Sutton Education Trust (SET) because it gives them the opportunity to collaborate and learn from each other while protecting the individual nature of each of the schools.

Our unique Trust allows schools the opportunity to work together and give their children and staff opportunities that they would not be able to do by themselves.

Spring 2021
The SET is pleased to officially welcome Sherwood Park and Sherwood Hill as full members of the SET following the recent Trust Board meeting.  Sherwood school has been an associate member for the last three years but applied for full membership.  As a special school with two campuses, Sherwood bring a wealth of skills and knowledge to our Trust.  We all look forward to all the exciting opportunities when working with them over the coming months and years!

Autumn 2022
Return to School - we are pleased that there has been a successful return for all our schools.

At the Sutton Education Trust each child is valued, educated, enthused through the collaboration opportunities of the seven member schools
